Point-and-Click KENO

Post by Welopez »

When I was a break-in craps dealer in Vegas, I thought learning to program would allow me to find a system which could beat the house and allow me to retire at 22. WRONG! There is no system to beat the house because the payoffs are always less than the probabilities against the player.

But people still have fun challenging the house, thinking perhaps this time Lady Luck will smile on them more than the house. It happens... sometimes.

This KENO game allows you to bet a ticket of one to ten numbers. The house chooses 20 random numbers and you are paid according to the number of matches you make. CAUTION!! I don't have to pay employee salaries, health benefits, or contribute to their IRA's. I have no overhead for utilities, free drinks, or taxes. The payoffs in this game are the actual computed probabilities against the player, and are substantially greater than any payoffs in a casino. DO NOT use this game to test your "system" to beat the house, and then take it to Vegas, Reno, or Atlantic City and expect to get rich! You may bet a lucky ticket, just as people occasionally win the lottery, but the more often you play, the more often you will lose. Trust me!
