Here's another approach to the same thing.

Requires the bitmap from the post above.

Edit: sorry, I seem to have lost part of the source somewhere but I think I got it back from the backup folder.

Attached is a modified version of Suzi's program that shows a more efficient way of storing and accessing the pixel data.
