Conforums down?

is conforums down. i don't know any other way to ask besides here.

Yes the servers appear to be down for both JB and LB forums.
I'm sure the folks at Conforums are busy fixing the problem and everything will be back to normal soon.

You know, I thought it was just me. I mean, I tested all 3 conforums i know (not incudeing
www.conforums.com) and I couldn't connect to any. Guess I wasn't the only one! Anyway, the one thing I'm thinking is it was to clear a little database issues. There are about 100+ conforums not accessed in a few months. I suppose they are closing them. I'm hoping this doesn't cause any corruptions in any conforums. If their are, I'm going to feel so stupid for not backing up my posts. (Yes i used to create copies of my webpages)

I've seen the Conforums servers go down before but never for more than a few minutes.
Hopefully it's just that their power is down and not some sort of web attack.

It's kind of tough not having the forums up and running!
Hopefully others will drop by and see that the archives are running and they have a place to post questions.

To tell you the truth, Calvin (Crusader) told me about the archives still being up. I would have never known!
Going to bed now, hope the forums is back up when I wake up.

There is something that I don't understand: The messages posting dates (in PB) are from yesterday. and conforums is down since Friday (I think).

Conforums and ProBoards are different companies using similar php Scripts.

In a few hours Europe will go to sleep.
Tomorrow we hope to see the forums online again.
There was a fire and explosion near the building were
the server are, thank God there was no personal accident
(how you say that?)
and the servers were saved.
The team will replace them at first with 24 brand
new ones and place the backups from the old servers on them.

It looks like some progress is being made, I've seen a few conforms2 boards up today.
The company that owns the Conforms servers is pretty big.
