Toolbar, a little larger than typical. Nice sound files to coordinate with user action, mouse movement and clicks. Bitmap images created in MS Paint. Excuse some of the hard-coding but demonstration of how to make an effective toolbar is shown in the graphic control, and two branches of SELECT CASE's for mouse movement and for tool choice.
The "toolbar" idea would make a very good Challenge, although studying and running each entrant to judge would be a bit big of a job.
