LOTTERYBOOSTER VERSION 1.
By: Ramijami & JB Forums

Welcome to LotteryBooster.

This programme was written as a project to learn the JustBasic computer language, and thanks goes out to all those who contributed to helping enhance my programming education. It is intended as a hobby tool only and no claims are made with regards to it's ability to win any prizes in the Lottery. Any use of the programme is at the users own discretion.

The aim behind LotteryBooster is to boost the players chance of winning a prize by eliminating "unlikely" lines from play, thus making sure they win frequently and more consistently. However, it is important to remember that Lottery is a game of chance and NO software or strategy or plan etc. can predict numbers or lines, or guarentee that you will win. Should you be playing in a syndicate/group/pool then please read the "SetSelector" help file.

About the Lottery:

The most important thing to be realized is that there is NO way to beat the system. Nothing a number or set of Numbers has ever done before obliges it to repeat that history. Lottery Draws are completely RANDOM and doesn't adhere to patterns. This means that Every number or set of numbers has the same chance of being drawn in every draw. What follows are some concepts that "Lotto experts" and "Lottery Students" have studied to find a pattern and to help improve the odds for a lotto player (it is advised that any player looks at their own draw history to see if, and how well, these patterns apply to their own personal lottery). These concepts also formed the basic "Filters"/Parameters of LotteryBooster:

Odds AND Evens: Odd numbers are 1,3,5,7, and Even numbers are 2,4,6,8. Close to 50 percent of the winning number sets will reportedly have 3 Odd numbers and 3 Even numbers. 40 percent of the rest will have 2 Odd and 4 Even or 4 Odd and 2 Even. So if you play using lines only in these ranges, and the six winning numbers fall in these "Odd/Even" ranges, you would have increased your chances of winning something.

Sums: Every 6 number combination has a sum that is derived by simply adding the 6 numbers together. The lowest possible 6 numbers that could be drawn are 1-2-3-4-5-6. Adding these together gives a sum of 21. The highest 6 numbers that can possibly be drawn are 44-45-46-47-48-49. The sum of this combination is 279. There are 13,983,816 possible combinations in a 6/49 game and every one of them has a sum that lies between 21 and 279. If we then add 21 + 279 to get 300, we can then say that the midpoint or median value on this scale of sums is 150. This is a key figure and simply means that the combinations are evenly distributed on either side of the peak sum of 150. So if you play using lines only in these ranges, and the six winning numbers fall in these "Sums" ranges, you would have increased your chances of winning something.

Decades: There are 5 groups or "decades" of numbers from which to choose your numbers: 1's, 10's, 20's, 30's and 40's. There is reportedly 85.8% chance that the winning combination will contain at most 2 or 3 numbers from the same decade. So if you play using lines only in these ranges, and the six winning numbers fall in these "Decade" ranges, you would have increased your chances of winning something.

Consecutives: Consecutive numbers are sequential numbers appearing in the same drawing such as ... 6 & 7 or 15 & 16 or 42 & 43. Consecutives reportedly appear about 20 percent of the time in larger games. In smaller games they may appear 50 percent of the time and even form triples 21-22-23 about 10 percent of the time. So if you play using lines only in these ranges, and the six winning numbers fall in these "Consecutives" ranges, you would have increased your chances of winning something.

Final Digits: This is when two numbers, in the same drawing, have the same last digit. Such as 04 & 24, 15 & 45, 17 & 27. About 50 percent of the drawings will reportedly have two numbers with the same last digit. Many will have two and two or (more rare) three last digits the same. Most draws will have two numbers with the same last digit. If one or two drawings do not have any same last digits then, the next drawing will very likely contain two sets. Also the next drawing will often contain one or two numbers with the same last digit as the previous draw. So if you play using lines only in these ranges, and the six winning numbers fall in these "Final Digits" ranges, you would have increased your chances of winning something.

NB: It is important to note that the more "filters" you use the better your chances of winning should the six winning numbers meet ALL the criteria. Needless to say that should the six winning numbers NOT meet the criteria of the "filters" then the chances of winning something is decreased.

Maximum Together in Previous Draws: This refers to how many times any group of numbers have appeared together in previous draws e.g. if a draw contained 1 2 3 4 5 6, and the next draw contains 1 2 3 4 7 8, then 4 numbers (1 2 3 4) from a previous draw appear together. Lotto "experts" argue that the chances of any 6 numbers previously drawn together are VERY unlikely, as well as any 5 numbers drawn together, so the suggestion is that this filter be set at 4.

Maximum Overlap: This refers to how many numbers from the selected numbers appear together (overlap) in multiple lines e.g. if the filter is set to 2, then 1 2 3 4 5 6 and 1 2 7 8 9 10 will contain only 2 numbers the same.

Maximum Occurence of each Number: This refers to how many times each number can be chosen for lines. For example, if a user selects 20 numbers to make lines from, and chooses 8 lines to generate, then the Maximum Occurence filter should be calculated (8 lines*6numbers per line=48 which is then divided by 20 which equals 2.4), so then this filter will be set to 3 (rounded up) or more. The aim of this filter is to create "balanced" lines and ensure that each number is represented an equal amount of times.

Maximum Lines: The user chooses how many lines he/she would like to generate to play in the next Lotto draw.

HOW TO USE LOTTERYBOOSTER

1.) Choose your numbers (can be lucky numbers, b'days etc. or you can use the SetSelector to choose multiple sets to play.....See the SetSelector "Help" file)
2.) Choose which filters to use. Tick a checkbox to activate/deactivate a filter. A tick in a checkbox will mean the filter will be activated and all lines generated will adhere to this filter. The boxes are deactivated, so you can only enter a number if the filter has been activated.
3.) Fill in the filter requirements (NB. If the Previous Draw filter is selected then a draw history needs to be loaded before generating your lines (by pressing the Load Draw History button, and this draw history needs to be in the form of a .txt file.)
e.g of how a text file draw history should look (an example text file "Book1" has also been included):

10,19,38,12,47,41
16,18,2,17,15,11
30,3,16,45,1,9
44,6,16,41,24,48
18,28,13,30,26,3
46,42,34,27,18,20
49,5,14,17,2,16
28,5,34,48,44,2
2,8,21,11,47,48

It is important to make sure there are no spaces after the last number in each line otherwise you will get an error message.
4.) Work out Maximum Occurence of each Number and fill it in (see maximum occurence explanation).
5.) Select the amount of lines to generate.
6.) Press Generate Lines to Generate your lines.
7.) Fill in your lottery coupons and play.

STOP Generation will stop generation if you want to adjust your filters and regenerate new lines.
Save Combination is disabled at the moment.
Play around with the filters and see how they work in your lottery.

SET Selector will allow you to generate sets of numbers to play (NB. You won't be able to generate lines while using the set selector. You can only use one or the other at any given time).
ANALYSIS will analyse previous draw data and give you the most likely percentages for odd/Even, Final digits, Decades and Sums that you can use to work out your own strategy/plan (Screen resolution must be set to the highest resolution otherwise you won't see the "SUMS" stats.

REMEMBER: LOTTERY DRAWS ARE COMPLETELY RANDOM AND DON'T ADHERE TO PATTERNS. ONLY PLAY AS A HOBBY AND ONLY AS MUCH AS YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE. BUYING LOTTERY TICKETS IS NOT AN INVESTMENT AND DOES NOT GUARENTEE RETURNS!!!!!!!

Good Luck, and if you win make a donation to the JB Forums to keep this great programme going!!!!!
